About ARP Roofing & Remodeling.
ARP Roofing & Remodeling is a Texas roofing company founded in 2016, headquartered in Boerne near San Antonio, with a branch office in Victoria. Why these credentials are on this page
Built in Texas, after we saw what the wrong roofer costs you
ARP Roofing & Remodeling started in San Antonio in 2016. The reason was simple, and it still runs the company: too many Texas families were meeting the wrong roofer at the worst moment. A crew rolls up the day after a hailstorm, pressures a homeowner to sign on the spot, cashes the first check, and disappears. A week later that homeowner is on a ladder trying to tarp the roof alone.
We built ARP to be the opposite of that. When Hurricane Harvey tore through the coast in 2017, we opened a second office in Victoria so the Crossroads had a roofer who would still answer the phone after the storm passed. Since then we have grown across San Antonio, Victoria, Austin, and the Texas Hill Country — but the job has never changed. You should not have to become a roofing expert to protect your family or your building. That is our job.
Ten years and 5,000+ projects later, the same family still runs the company — Randal, his wife Sheryl, their son Preston, and their daughter Valerie — and we are still here.
One family, one team, all accountable to you
ARP is owned and run by one family. Randal and Sheryl Williams and their children, Preston and Valerie, lead the company, and Valerie's husband Sam runs the work in the field. That means the people making you promises are the same people accountable for keeping them — when your project goes well, it's their family name on it, and when something needs to be made right, there is no corporate wall to hide behind.
A family business is only as strong as the team around it, and ours has stayed together. Project consultants like Travis, Greg, Austin, and Nat have been with ARP for years — so the person who walks your roof isn't a stranger who shows up after a storm and disappears once the check clears. Family or not, everyone here works as one team, and everyone has a stake in how your roof turns out. That's what accountability really means: not a slogan, but a group of people who all answer for the same result — yours.
What ARP stands for
Our mission
"To construct reliable systems that protect and restore peace of mind to those beneath them, while building trust through professionalism at an affordable price to over 100,000 properties within the next 15 years."
Our vision
"As we look to the future, we see ARP Roofing expanding its footprint across Texas, opening five office locations over the next seven years. This vision is about more than just numbers; it's about growth, impact, and leadership in the roofing industry."
We started ARP because too many people were getting the opposite — and everything we do is built to be the alternative. That shows up as a short list of things we will never do:
- We never cut corners on materials — not even the parts you'll never see.
- We never subcontract without direct oversight — an ARP project manager runs your job.
- We never leave you to face the insurance process alone.
- We never pressure you to sign fast — you decide on your timeline, not ours.
- We never blame the manufacturer — our workmanship warranty is backed by us.
Off the roof, that same commitment shows up in the community: ARP is a Platinum supporter of Frontline Heroes Outdoors, a Texas nonprofit serving veterans and first responders. fhotx.org
Meet the team behind ARP Roofing
A roof is only as good as the people accountable for it. These are the people behind your project — named, not anonymous.
Founders and leadership
Randal Williams — Co-founder & COO Randal Williams is a former commercial high-rise field engineer and Xactimate expert with 15+ years in roofing and construction. Under his operational leadership, ARP Roofing has completed more than $24 million in residential and commercial roofing projects across Texas. He runs operations, field engineering, and the documentation discipline that protects every customer. Read Randal's full profile →
Preston Williams — Co-founder & President Preston Williams is a construction professional with 10+ years spanning commercial and residential project management, field superintendent work, and high-end custom home construction across San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. As President, Preston leads business development, sales, and the customer experience. Randal is Preston's father; together they are the family behind ARP. Read Preston's full profile →
“The roofs that earn us the next job are the ones we installed five years ago and forgot about. That's the only marketing budget that compounds.”
The people behind your project
Beyond our founders, ARP's production and administrative managers, field leads, and project consultants are the people who schedule your job, run your install, and walk your roof. Every one of them is named and accountable — no anonymous "our team." Several of our consultants introduce themselves on video, so you know who you're talking to before you ever pick up the phone.
What your roof needs, ARP builds
We work across three kinds of property. Each one links to the team and systems that handle it.
- Residential roofing — replacement, repair, maintenance, free inspections, storm-damage repair, metal roofing, and seamless gutters for homeowners. Residential roofing services →
- Commercial roofing — TPO, PVC, standing seam and exposed-fastener metal, coatings and restoration, repairs, maintenance, and replacement for property managers and building owners. Commercial roofing services →
- Multifamily roofing — portfolio assessments, repairs, maintenance, replacement, and storm response for apartment and HOA owners.
A few things we are known for: an on-site standing-seam roll-forming machine that lets us fabricate metal panels to length on your property, fluid-applied coatings and restoration for low-slope commercial roofs, and the Xactimate-grade documentation Randal built into every job.
“In ten years of replacing roofs across Bexar, Travis, and Kendall counties, I've watched thousands of homeowners work through this decision. The weight you're feeling is real. Part of the reason we built ARP the way we did was to make it easier — not by pressuring you, but by giving you the kind of information a roofing contractor usually keeps to themselves.”

Credentials you can check for yourself
We separate what we are certified to do from who we buy from and where we belong — because those are different kinds of trust, and blurring them is exactly what we built ARP against.

How ARP works: High Standards Above All
Our brand promise is not a slogan — it is a set of things you can watch us do.
- We document before we start. You get the scope, the materials list, and a photo set in writing — because ten years from now we want to be able to show you exactly what we did and why it is still holding up.
- We supervise every crew. ARP does not send anonymous field labor. Our project managers inspect the install crew's work at the milestones that matter, and the crew on your roof is led by an ARP project manager.
- We back our own warranty. We do not blame the manufacturer when something goes wrong. Our workmanship warranty is one we personally stand behind.
We are a great fit if you want everything in writing, care about who is on your property, and are planning to stay in your home or building for the long term. We are probably not the right fit if you are choosing purely on the lowest bid, or you need someone to pay or waive your insurance deductible — Texas law does not allow that, and neither do we.
